I never sketch my actions on paper beforehand.

I guess this is my need to partly materialise the action before having the opportunity to perform it in the desired space.

In the planned action I wish to exhibit my own body highlighting and aligning physical and psychological points while wearing a mouth opener and a speculum.

The graphic nature of the concept explores the simple yet complex plane of my body structure and its fragility and strength, in the attempt of holding position and focus.

In order to try out the action I chose the ‘private theatre’ offered by the wood pile we have in our garden. While in the planned action my body would be totally exposed, this present study has been thought for a private and hidden extemporaneous action instead.
