Next time I’ll wear black, I won’t be caught off guard.

They won’t see a smile on my face before they scare me and make me look like a fool who hasn’t been warned until the last minute.

I will be prepared.

I won’t have to change the date because I intend to schedule anything.

Thus, when they open their mouths to give me the news, I will already know the words and begin to heal the wound before seeing my torn skin.

Sandra Salietti Aguilera, co-founder of I VESPRI, is a Dancer and Choreography Assistant born in Barcelona in 1991. Her first contact with dance in the Estudio Isadora school prepared her to enter the Professional Dance Conservatory of Barcelona.

After joined the Cannes Jeune Ballet of Rosella Hightower she worked at Ballet National de Marseille, under the artistic direction of Frédéric Flamand, at the Gaertnerplatz Theater in Munich, directed by Karl Alfred Schreiner, where she collaborated the first time with choreographer Emanuele Soavi, at the Tanz Luzerner Theater directed by Kathleen McNurney and at last at ATERBALLETTO in Italy.

With the work ORFEO ED EURIDICE by Marcos Morau, Sandra was nominated by the famous German magazine ‘Tanz’ as Dancer of the Year and re-nominated by the Swiss Free Scene for her performance in VARIATIONEN DES SEINS by Georg Reischl.

Since 2017, Sandra begins a clearer artistic collaboration with her partner and Choreographer Giovanni Insaudo and they create their own brand I VESPRI. From their work, she received the Outstanding Performer award at the 12th Copenhagen International Choreography Competition.
