A hit mix of baroque arias and pop songs drives the meeting of loners, which questions the clichés of love relationships and hidden desires in a dynamic and virtuoso sequence of duets, solos, trios, quartets and quintets.
The first part condenses the choreographic concerto FAÇADES, developed for the Kölner Philharmonie, to its timeless core that unites all opposites: love and Eros. How does the uncompromising break with conventions set transformation processes in motion? And what does this have to do with stereotypical forms of expression that every era, including the present, sets and sells as standards? These questions determine the second part.
The interplay of complex group choreographies and individual psychological portraits creates a field of tension between revolutionary power and emotional extremes, between archaic myth and the oppressive present.
