ATLAS 1 – ANY BODY SOUNDS (2018)

After his MYTH PROJECT and THE HABIT CYCLES, Emanuele Soavi initiates his new multi-part performance cycle. ATLAS is a series of choreographic traces dedicated to the body in exceptional circumstances, human beings and their histories.

The first project ANY BODY SOUNDS is both a sound explosion and a physical improvisation. Together with long-time Forsythe dancer Jone San Martin Emanuele Soavi explores the relation between sound and body from within. Spanish sound artist Mikel R Nieto from San Sebastian completes the team by providing an innovative approach transforming this rather complex topic into a stage experience that appeals to all the senses.
